RACE COMMENT

ITSMENOTU (6) is one of two runners using the double claim to gain entry into this event. Based on her excellent performances in the recent four-year-old mares features, followed by an easy victory last start, she looks the horse to beat regardless of where she settles in the running. MIGHT AND TEMERITY (5) is the other runner benefiting from the double claim and has not been far away in recent starts. She looks the value runner of the field and can cause an upset if she produces her best. SHOOBEES SPIRIT (3) finished off strongly last start when driven for one run and will again be looking to settle midfield with cover before unleashing his sprint late. ART HUNTSMAN (2) is expected to press forward in search of the lead, where he has produced several good performances recently, and should give himself every opportunity to finish on the podium. WATCH YOUR BACK (8) resumed in Tasmania with a solid effort and should be running home strongly with the right run in transit.
