RACE COMMENT

The second No More Than One Win event of the night brings together a slightly smaller but very even field. PHLOW JO (2) has produced some excellent performances against handy opposition, which would have her hard to beat here despite starting at big odds in those races. She can be a little scratchy behind the mobile, so expect her to be allowed to find her feet early rather than being used aggressively from the gate. CHARLI PIPPEN (1) is the lone maiden in the field but continues to improve and should be right in the finish with any luck in running. The other Todd Rattray-trained runner, ALL ABOUT SADIE (5), has been very consistent since returning from a spell without breaking through and only needs to reproduce that form to be highly competitive again. MAGGIEJANE (9) is an intriguing runner from the Riverina making her first Tasmanian appearance for Victorian trainer Aaron Dunn. She has trialled twice for the stable and, if she brings her best manners, looks capable of making an immediate impact. ISLA ATHENA (3) may look to find the front from her favourable draw, while BRIGHTLY BLAZE (4) returns to Tasmania after some below-par efforts in Victoria and could improve back in this company. SHEZ ALL HEART (6) has generally started at big odds but has shown ability behind quality horses.
