RACE COMMENT

STORM VENDETTA (1) looks to get his chance to break through in Tasmania from the pole draw over the short trip. His past two performances have been encouraging enough to suggest he can be right in the finish and gets every opportunity from the favourable barrier. POST KEG (2) is the highest-rated runner in the field and gets into the race well with the junior claim. His recent form has been strong enough to make him one of the leading chances from the ideal draw. OUR SWEET TRIXIE (4) is expected to press forward from the gate, although she has had her opportunities in slightly easier races when leading in recent starts. Even so, she again looks a solid place chance. MIKI SANZ (8) and SUE NIEN (9) are both consistent performers who should enjoy ideal runs from their inside back-row draws and will be looking to finish strongly. SHEMEANSBUSINESS (6) makes her first appearance for the Hillier stable after bringing some handy South Australian form with her.
