RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: INSIDER TRADING (5) might not be the most genuine pacer of all time, but I’ve got a bit of time for him and fancy he’s a great chance here if able to lead over the 1200m scamper. He ran really well through the Warragul Cup series and before that looked the winner in a similar grade race to this at Melton when beaten narrowly. THE FINAL DANCE (4) is the likely favourite and will be hard to beat from the Emma Stewart stable, where he has won two of three starts. ANGELS WATCHING (6) looked ready to strike last week at Ballarat but just couldn’t get clear in the home straight, and while not many win over the six furlongs from the wide front row draw, HIGHLANDHARTBREAKA (8) has good ability and finished third in a strong race at Melton on Saturday night.
