RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: PLAYA DEL CARMEN (3) has had a lot of chances since her latest victory but she strikes a very suitable assignment now and might be able to bounce back into winning form. She has been placed at her past three attempts by leading out then taking cover and she is likely to gain cover close to the pace again. BET BET HOTSHOT (2) has competed against stronger opposition at his past two attempts and should be able to improve on his numerical form under these conditions. He was runner up behind Lavengers Boy after setting the speed at Maryborough on June 29. SUZYS DREAM (4) also drops back in grade for this assignment and is not without a chance. KYVALLEY MISTY (8) moved up without cover and tired over the concluding stages ($2-90 fav) at Bendigo last outing. She has been a beaten favourite at her past two attempts but is worth another chance against this line up. LOVE WHO (5) has been placed in two of his past three starts and has the early speed to be prominent throughout.
