RACE COMMENT

OVERVIEW: DON CRUNCH (4) went back at the start from a wide draw, settled down last and finished off swiftly when a big second behind Cocosworld at Maryborough last outing. He is a promising 3yo and will prove hard to beat again. WOODVILLE FLYER (2) was heavily supported and was able to lead throughout to win her Maiden at Ballarat last outing. She is a nicely bred mare that continues to improve with the benefit of experience and is drawn to go well again. LISTEN TO THE HAND (8) began quickly to find the lead, ran along at an even tempo and dominated his rivals when he scored easily at Mildura last week. This is a race of more depth but he is worth thought again. SIARGAO ISLAND (9) had every chance from behind the leader and finished a distant second when resuming. He should be fitter from that run and is worth another chance. The New South Wales trained pacer BIGWHEEL BOMBA (5) must be kept safe. BACK: DON CRUNCH (4) – 3 units (win)
