OVERVIEW: ALDEBARAN JAZMINE (6) is a well-bred filly with plenty of ability. Four starts ago, she was beaten just 2.6 metres in the Group 1 NSW Trotters Oaks before returning to winning form at Maryborough two starts ago. Although the barrier is awkward, she has the class to overcome it. AFRICAN GALA (1) can be very competitive when he puts it all together. The ace barrier gives him every chance to map positively. THE ITALIAN DREAM (4) is a smart mare with a brilliant turn of foot. If she is close enough turning for home, she can charge over the top of them late.
