THE JANITOR (12) was one of the series fancies leading into the Inter Dominion and things just didn’t work out for him at all in his two rounds of heats. He was forced to race without cover outside of Leap To Fame in the first round of heats when battling away well for fourth there behind Leap To Fame and Nyack. He found a very sedately run hear last time out where he may have been better served working around to the breeze given it became a dash home which made it near impossible to make ground widest on the track.
