RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: MYRTLE MAY (3) trailed the leader from the pole position and held her own in the straight when second behind Sporting Rage at Charlton last week. This is her easiest assignment for some time and she is capable of going one better now. WHENIMREADY (5) has shown brilliant gate speed at his past two attempts and is likely to find the lead again. He was run down over the latter stages but battled on well for second behind Keayang Viper at Mount Gambier last outing and is one of the leading chances again. QUICK CRUNCH (6) has struck peak form having won at her past two starts with her latest victory being at Ballarat, where she led and dashed home in a slick last half of 56.5 seconds.
