RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: MISTER DEVEREAUX (4) has returned from a spell in good form with two seconds followed by a runaway victory at Bendigo. He is stepping up from the Maiden class but he is a progressive type and looms as a strong winning chance again. RIDETHELIGHTNING (1) broke stride when leaving the back straight and made up many lengths at the end when an unlucky fourth ($2-15fav) at Geelong last outing. He has made a few errors recently but he will prove hard to beat if he is able to deliver a fool proof display. REVERAND BOB (5) was able to lead throughout when he defeated MISS KOMMUNICATION (6) at Kilmore then followed with a strong second after working hard at Bendigo. He is building up a consistent record and should run his usual honest race. SOLOTREKK (7) was heavily supported at his first run since November and finished off stylishly to get up in the last stride at Bendigo.
