RACE COMMENT
IDEN OLIVER (3) gains the benefit of Grace Jones' junior driver claim and should find a handy position on speed, giving him every chance to take some holding out late in this grade. MIRA DOMINA (1) ran her rivals off their legs last start in fast time over the mile and will be looking to employ similar tactics again, although the rise to 2200 metres is a slight query. Her chances would improve if she settled a little better throughout the run. LADY IN LINE (4) was a brilliant winner first up in the state before being beaten as a $1.22 favourite last start, where she was later found to have issues. She has since trialled nicely and should be right in the finish again. IFYOULOVEMELETMEGO (5) and KUHIO CREST (6) are both newcomers to the state with consistent form that suggests they can be competitive if they receive the right runs in transit.
