RACE COMMENT

The second of the No More Than One Win races looks the weaker of the two divisions, where last season's Sires Stakes winner TWILIGHT STORM (2) should settle on speed and take a power of beating. She was very good first up when doing all the work in fast time to finish second and looks well placed here. STORM VENDETTA (3) makes his Tasmanian debut for trainer Adrian Duggan after showing handy ability as a two-year-old last season. His six Victorian trials since have only been fair and it is difficult to line up his recent second in a slowly run Hobart trial, so tread carefully if he opens at short odds on race day. WINNING BREW (1) draws the pole and has enough gate speed to hold a forward position. He looks an improving type with racing. IYLAC CHAMBER (7) gained a deserved victory last start after doing plenty of work and showing plenty of toughness, though the wide draw may leave him relying on genuine tempo to bring him into the race. ALL ABOUT SADIE (8) and GEMMY LOU (9) are both consistent placegetters and should enjoy nice trailing runs, while SHEEZA SOHO (4) and A DRAGON FOR JOE (5) have drawn awkwardly but have shown ability at times, and could easily run into the first four if they produce their best form.Selections: TWILIGHT STORM (2), STORM VENDETTA (3), WINNING BREW (1), ALL ABOUT SADIE (8)
