RACE COMMENT
MIDNITE DESIRE (3) was somewhat disappointing first up in the state after enjoying a nice run on speed with cover, finishing fourth as the $2 favourite. He looks likely to enjoy a similar run here and should get every opportunity to make amends. CINCINNATI (2) has shown ability at times and again draws well over the mile to settle on speed. His chances would improve considerably if he was able to cross the polemarker early. Happy to overlook EMER (9) after she was held up at her latest appearance, as her previous form would make her very hard to hold out late from the favourable trailing draw. HORRIE OTARA (10) and COLBY ART (11) will be following her every move from the back row and should both be finishing off strongly to be in the finish.Selections: MIDNITE DESIRE (3), EMER (9), CINCINNATI (2), HORRIE OTARA (10)
