OVERVIEW: SPORTING RAGE (5) began sharply to lead, ran along at a genuine tempo and was run down late when second behind Watch Your Back in a slick mile rate of 1.54.9 at Bendigo last outing. This is probably a race of less depth and he has been placed in three of his past four starts so he deserves to break through for a win. HURRICANE HOOLY (3) was left stranded without cover and kept on kicking when she defeated Final Bow at Bendigo last outing. She is drawn to be close to the speed again and warrants respect. MYRTLE MAY (1) led from the pole position and set up a hectic tempo after racing very fiercely when a tiring sixth at Bendigo last outing. She is better than her two runs back from a break would suggest and is a possible improver. MEGAWATTS (7) was aggressively driven and landed the prize at Mildura last outing. This race is a little harder but he could show up. PRESIDENTIALCHANGE (4) had little luck at Mount Gambier last week and is also worth thought.

This is probably a race of less depth and he has been placed in three of his past four starts so he deserves to break through for a win. HURRICANE HOOLY (3) was left stranded without cover and kept on kicking when she defeated Final Bow at Bendigo last outing. She is drawn to be close to the speed again and warrants respect. MYRTLE MAY (1) led from the pole position and set up a hectic tempo after racing very fiercely when a tiring sixth at Bendigo last outing. She is better than her two runs back from a break would suggest and is a possible improver. MEGAWATTS (7) was aggressively driven and landed the prize at Mildura last outing.
