AFFAMATO (1) could not have been more impressive when coming from near last with a brilliant finishing burst in a very slick last half last start. He should possess enough gate speed to kick through and hold the front here and will take a power of beating. EVERYTHING BUT THE (2) has been very consistent of late, recording good times over the mile and should again enjoy a nice run with cover, particularly if SHADES OF SILK (3) rolls forward and parks outside the leader. SHADES OF SILK (3) is chasing three straight victories and appears to finally be putting together the talent he has shown at times throughout his career. Race comment
AFFAMATO (1) could not have been more impressive when coming from near last with a brilliant finishing burst in a very slick last half last start. He should possess enough gate speed to kick through and hold the front here and will take a power of beating. EVERYTHING BUT THE (2) has been very consistent of late, recording good times over the mile and should again enjoy a nice run with cover, particularly if SHADES OF SILK (3) rolls forward and parks outside the leader. SHADES OF SILK (3) is chasing three straight victories and appears to finally be putting together the talent he has shown at times throughout his career. The remainder of the field could all earn minor prize money depending on who receives the best run in transit, while SOUTHERN LUCK (5) would appreciate a genuinely run race and should be grinding away strongly late.Selections: AFFAMATO (1), EVERYTHING BUT THE (2), SHADES OF SILK (3), SOUTHERN LUCK (5)
