SPLASHNDASH (3) has the draw advantage on a number of his key rivals in this race and is likely to look to hold that advantage. He was well beaten last start but was forced to race without cover. He can bounce back. MYNAMESEVAN (5) appears to be dropping back in grade a touch into this race but does draw widest. He got back in the run three starts ago and flashed into third late. He may need to work at some stage or could be left with a lot to do late. I OF A HURRIKANE (6) led last start over the 2138 in a strong field at Albion Park. He draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race and will need to get into the clear at the right time. MY PURPLE PATCH (8) got shuffled a long way back last start and couldn’t get into the race there at Albion Park. This race looks a touch easier and he can bounce back.
