A winner in four of his past five starts, he was large in victory last week from the breeze in sharp time at the mile. SASSY GALLEON (8) will need some factors in her favour from this gate but if the gaps arrive in time, she is up to issuing a challenge. A winner via the passing lane two starts back, she made a mess of the stand start conditions last time out and back behind the start car will suit. SUPERIOR STRIDE (3) is in chase of three on the bounce after successive wins at the Menangle 2300. Leading up last start from gate 4, he pulled clear to post a 19m margin and is right in this.
