OVERVIEW: BLACKRANGE GLORY (7) is making his standing start debut but he did step away well enough to lead at a recent Maryborough trial effort, where second behind star stable mate Mecarno. He will make his presence felt with a safe getaway. FREMARKS PEGGY (9) has been placed in eight of her past nine starts (3 wins) and she ran a reasonable race for second behind Romantic Nina last week. She is a versatile mare and should go well again. CONNIES PRESIDENT (4) steps away quickly and has struck peak form with two victories and a third behind FREMARKS PEGGY (9) at his past three attempts. He is a good chance of finding the lead despite commencing from the handicap of 10m and is worth an investment.
