RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: FEEL THE REIGN (2) gets into this race nicely with the aid of a concession claim and he is perfectly drawn to suit his racing pattern. He trailed the leader but was held up for momentum before the home turn when a creditable fifth behind Hello Possums at Shepparton last outing. NO EMOTION (5) continues to race in great form and must be included amongst the leading chances again. He came from last at the bell and sustained a long run out three horses wide when he won at Mildura then produced a big finish to win at Stawell last outing. HUNGRY HOGARTH (4) raced very fiercely on the outside of the leader in fast time and had excuses when ninth at Bendigo last outing. He was a winner at Mildura three starts ago and is worth another chance. CALYPSO MISTRESS (1) is suited to racing over the sprint distance and is capable of improving on her numerical form. OWEN THE SAINTS (6) was beaten by a long way at Mildura but his overall form is good enough to be competitive here. BACK: FEEL THE REIGN (2) – 1.5 units (each way)
