OVERVIEW: DANCEBYTHESEASIDE (5) raced without cover throughout, hit the lead at the 300m and peaked late when a close third behind Very Tempting at Melton last outing. He has improved with every start since resuming and is ready to break through for a win. SMOKIN STREPO (2) began slowly from the pole position and ended up being ninth on the markers before running home well out wide late when seventh behind the handy pacer Le Cardinal at Terang. He ran into a distant second at Mount Gambier prior and is worth a ticket each way. STELLAR QUEEN (1) was caught wide early and had to restrain to a rearward position so she didn’t have much luck at Melton last outing. She was placed against similar grade at Stawell on April 03 and is drawn to go well again. DOCTOR GO JOH (7) settled midfield, came out four horses wide at the 300m and finished off well for third at Terang. He has a tough draw to overcome but is racing well enough to figure in the finish. Race comment
OVERVIEW: DANCEBYTHESEASIDE (5) raced without cover throughout, hit the lead at the 300m and peaked late when a close third behind Very Tempting at Melton last outing. He has improved with every start since resuming and is ready to break through for a win. SMOKIN STREPO (2) began slowly from the pole position and ended up being ninth on the markers before running home well out wide late when seventh behind the handy pacer Le Cardinal at Terang. He ran into a distant second at Mount Gambier prior and is worth a ticket each way. STELLAR QUEEN (1) was caught wide early and had to restrain to a rearward position so she didn’t have much luck at Melton last outing. She was placed against similar grade at Stawell on April 03 and is drawn to go well again. DOCTOR GO JOH (7) settled midfield, came out four horses wide at the 300m and finished off well for third at Terang. He has a tough draw to overcome but is racing well enough to figure in the finish. BACK: DANCEBYTHESEASIDE (5) – 2 units (win)
