RACE COMMENT
AMELIAS JEWEL (1) will be looking for an all-the-way victory from the pole draw over the short distance after a strong second last start in good time. Two starts back she was somewhat lazy in front during the race and looks better suited following another horse, though it would surprise if that occurred here from the draw. LAID BACK (3) is a handy horse at his best and resumes from a long spell without a trial, but would expect him to push forward and look to obtain cover. MIKIYOURSOFINE (5) is an extremely tough and consistent customer who will no doubt be in the finish again. It would be surprising if the winner didn’t come from those leading chances.
