RACE COMMENT
MY BETTOR HALF (2) should have enough early speed to hold the front and take plenty of beating over the mile distance. The race could develop into a single-file affair through the opening stages, with some cat-and-mouse tactics likely. MCMAYHEM (5) looks the main danger after a series of strong performances and profiles as a nice progressive type. ROCKY STRIDE (3) and TAMBROS TILLY (4) have both been racing consistently and should again be around the placings. CARMEN EMJAY (6) resumes from a lengthy break but trialled nicely at Hobart earlier this week.
