OVERVIEW: TOPHUT JOHNY (4) is on the backup from Tuesday night where he appeared to have every chance after burning out of the gate unsuccessfully. He’s a horse who performs best in front when able to roll along at his own tempo, and he looks capable of finding the lead from this draw and proving hard to run down. LAZENBY (11) put together back-to-back wins a few starts ago, including a victory at this track where he mapped well. He had little luck last start and despite the awkward draw can improve back in this grade. BOND GIRL (8), his stablemate, was also a winner here two starts ago after receiving a well-rated drive. She has a difficult draw but is racing better than most. DOT BALL (9) has started to find form recently, including a win on Tuesday night where she appeared to find the right race.
