RACE COMMENT
IRON CLAD (9) drops sharply in class here and from the favourable trailing draw behind a noted beginner, should settle handy on speed and prove hard to hold out late. MERRYWOOD PAUL (6) returned to form with a much-improved effort last start when on his best behaviour and a repeat performance would see him right in the finish again. WILL HE PIKE (3) got the job done last start and although rising slightly in grade, should still be thereabouts from the handy draw.
