RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: SWEET IRISH LOCH (4) is a well-bred filly, first up here for Joe Pace after two trial wins since joining the stable. On her exposed form from last preparation, she has the best sectional times in this field. She looks well placed. HAPPILY (6) had excuses last start, as she was checked and broke, so that run can be forgiven. Her three career starts prior were all good performances, and she looks to have a few wins ahead of her. MAURLEN COMPASS (9) is a Captaintreacherous-sired filly having her fourth career start. She got her manners wrong last start and trailed the field, but her run prior was impressive when she let down strongly to win at Melton. She has a suitable barrier to follow through early into a good position. ZOOM ZOOM BOOM (8) is the comeback horse in the field, having his fourth start since 2023. He was improved last start when third at Kilmore and, while he will need luck here, should improve again.
