RACE COMMENT

OVERVIEW: VOLDAGHA (2) is resuming here off one trial, and he’s a horse who’s always commanded market respect, despite winning only once. He can show gate speed here and potentially find the lead, and if there’s enough fitness under his belt looks the testing material. ISLAND FRANKIE (1) hasn’t been seen since June last year when a good winner on debut as a 2yo when well supported. He’s had two trials into this which have been inconclusive, so happy to see him step out here. GATESYS MATE (4) won well last start at Cranbourne, albeit he had every chance, but should map well again. LILLYS TIGER (5) hard to know what to make of her this time in, but her best warrants respect in this line-up.
