OVERVIEW: THUNDERFIRE (5) there’s been plenty to like about the way he has gone about his business in two runs this preparation, coming off the speed and winning well in good time. His progression is destined for a place well beyond where he’s rated at the moment, and although he’ll give them a start, he can overpower them late. TIVOLI (1) is an honest mare with good gate speed who will map well regardless if she doesn’t lead, getting reliable cover. She is slightly up in class. BLACKJACK WHACKO (4) will find this more suitable than last time out at Melton and may look to put himself into the race from the favourable draw.
