RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: DUSTY PHILTRA (11) resumed for his 3yo season in terrific fashion, winning at Melton sitting parked and running away, albeit in slow time. His form against some smart 2yos last prep suggested he’s a handy type, so you can trust him to go again. GINGER ELLA (4) finds a suitable race for the first time this prep, having started in tougher company and from tricky draws. She has early gate speed to look for the lead here, which is how she won her maiden victory as a 2yo at Melton. PRICILLA (10) has proven she is a tough, honest filly in her three career runs, working forward from tricky draws each time. She will have to show that again here, but there’s enough under the bonnet.
