RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: METRO MEMORY (7) isn’t afforded any favours with the draw; however his recent form has been very good, and he looks well placed on the ratings scale. He came from well back last time at Kilmore when missing narrowly and has a good record at this track. If there’s enough speed early, he can overpower them late. ARE WEASLEY (4) is a tough, consistent type who often finds himself racing the hard way. If he happens to find his way to the top his chances improve dramatically, however expect ENABLE ME (2) to try and make the most of this draw and race in a forward position. He burned out last time and hung in there and was a winner five back when able to race handy. SOAR (1) isn’t a brilliant beginner but can hold up well enough to not map far off them and take his chance on the sprint lane. BACK: METRO MEMORY (7) – 3 units (win)
