RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: MISSMALACHITE (4) is a fast beginner and will find this opposition much more to her liking than what she’s faced her past couple. Prior to that she was going well with a string of placings, the most recent sitting parked. She is a 40-start maiden, but this is her best chance to get that victory. VERY TEMPTING (3) finds his most suitable race to bounce back into the winner’s list. With the lack of speed drawn to his inside he gets the chance to race in a handy position; it’s been a while between drinks, however. JOEYS HANGOVER (1) is often disadvantaged by his lack of gate speed, but if he can hold up to be at worst leader’s back, he comes into calculations strongly. BLUE OCEAN (2) is another who struggles to win, but he’s sure to map well from the draw which is a major factor in a race with little depth.
