RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: RUBBLEONTHEDOUBLE (1) ran a terrific race last week when he settled down in last position and sustained a long run out three horses wide from the bell. He ended up being in second position behind Ears The Boss so the performance of that pacer in race five might be a good lead into his chances in this event. G B BRAVE (7) is yet to miss a place in four starts at Mildura and has the perfect trailing draw behind RUBBLEONTHEDOUBLE (1). He worked to the front and scored comfortably two starts ago then did very well after sustaining a flat tyre last week. MAGGACIS (4) put together three impressive victories in succession prior to the Mildura Cup Carnival, where he finished fourth in a heat then seventh in the final of the Club Merbein series behind the Emma Stewart prepared The Art of Success. He is a tough type and might be able to find this to be more suitable so it would be no surprise to see him return to winning form. ROCKNROLL YANKEE (9) is a handy South Australian pacer, which boasts twenty career wins.
