RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: THE ART OF SUCCESS (7) couldn’t have drawn worse but she is clearly the class runner of the field and will prove hard to beat. She pushed forward from the second row to race without cover and went down fighting in a slick mile rate of 1.54.5 at Terang last outing. MAGGACIS (6) is racing in career best form having won at his past three attempts and all by comfortable margins. He raced out three horses wide for the last lap and did very well to score at Mildura last outing so he can take the next step forward. TOBYS SHOUT (8) is resuming since a ninth at Bendigo in July and hasn’t been to the trials. He did defeat a smart horse in Williams at a Bendigo victory back in October 2024 so he can be competitive if he is somewhere near his peak. ROCKNROLL LENNY (9) overcame a tough run when he scored at Mildura two starts ago and is not without a chance. BACK: THE ART OF SUCCESS (7) – 3 units (win)
