RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: XLENDI STAR (8) strikes a very suitable assignment for his debut and should go well. He has had three trials recently at Bacchus Marsh for a win and two seconds and his latest second was behind the recent race winner Rebel By The Sea with another recent winner in Illuminate Me being in third position so the form line is strong. THE NINJA (7) was placed eight times in succession against similar opposition prior to a sixth behind Priddy Carson last week, where he endured a torrid trip. He is awkwardly drawn but looms as one of the leading chances against this line up. TRYAGAINFREDDY (11) ran a better race at Swan Hill last week and rates as a value place hope.
