RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: CHARLIE WALKER (6) is racing in peak form and is a good chance of leading throughout. He was aggressively driven after being drawn on the second line and went down fighting when second behind What’s The Tea last outing. He led throughout at a Ballarat victory on February 19. ALLWATFUNJINGLES (4) led out then took cover and ended up being three back on the markers when a creditable fourth behind Jackies Gift last outing. He continues to perform in a consistent manner and is worth a ticket each way. CHAMPAGNES (3) hasn’t been placed at her past seven attempts but she won six races towards the end of last season and is capable of showing improvement in this class. HEART OF GRACELAND (8) was shuffled back on the markers in the early stages and angled wide approaching the home turn when a handy finishing third at Bendigo last outing.
