RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: BLACKRANGE GLORY (8) is a very smart trotter when he is able to put it altogether and sustained a strong run to win at Maryborough last outing. He should be reaching his peak form after having two starts back from a break and is a strong winning chance again if he gets away safely. APRIL SUN (7) put in a big performance to finish fourth last outing after he galloped away, lost valuable ground then circled around into the breeze mid-race. He raced without cover when second at Kilmore prior and looms as one of the leading chances in this event. BAR TAB (6) finished off quickly to snare victory over Kiss At Midnight at Melton last outing. She is a risky beginner but should go well if she gets away cleanly. KARBINE (5) broke stride and lost his chance when resuming. He raced against the best of his age group during last season and has the ability to feature prominently.
