RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: HEAR ME MAJOR TOM (9) has ability but is still learning. He was confidently supported but made an early error and lost his chance when a distant fourth at Birchip on his debut. He strikes a very winnable assignment here and he will be hard to beat if he delivers a fool proof display. KICKABARREL (10) was aggressively driven to find the lead and peaked late when seventh behind Coltrane last outing. He finished well for second at Cranbourne three starts ago and a repeat performance would see him being very competitive here. ARIVADERCHI (1) ran a reasonable race for fifth in the race won by Coltrane last week and was placed at Birchip prior so he is not without a chance. FAR AS POSSIBLE (2) and LYNESHA LARAIN (3) both possess early speed and are ideally drawn in an even race so they cannot be left out of calculations.
