RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: COLTRANE (9) made a mistake, lost a stack of ground and rounded up his rivals to win his maiden by a huge margin at Ballarat in what was a super display on March 19. His manners are poor, but he could probably give away a start again here and still prevail on talent. MOREEP (8) won her last start at Melton before a break and heads here on the back of a nice Geelong trial win, RIDETHELIGHTNING (3) can be forgiven for the margin at Ararat on Monday and has sprinklings of form to like from last campaign, while METRO SWISH (5) finally put it all together when sitting parked to score at Geelong a fortnight ago in what was a good performance.
