RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: A recent Terang trial has set the scene nicely for this maiden event, with KEAYANG DREAMGIRL (2) leading and dominating from the front to beat BETTORS IDEAL (7) and SNACK LOVER (1) into second and fifth respectively. Based off that, and another trial when she was only grabbed late by the very smart Mcbart, let’s side with KEAYANG DREAMGIRL (2). She looks to have nice ability and can win on debut. SNACK LOVER (1) is back at the races after a two-run campaign in October/November, which included a good debut third in a fast mile rate at Bendigo. From the ace draw, he’s certainly a chance. BETTORS IDEAL (7) boxed on well for second in that March 17 trial but has a tough gate to overcome, while FANTASY FLIGHT (6) was beaten as favourite following a tough death seat trip at Charlton, but the two runs prior were very good.
