RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: MAGGACIS (11) trounced his rivals to win by 25m in his heat of this series last week and is clearly the horse to beat again. He won by 29m at his victory prior! APOLOGY ACCEPTED (12) settled midfield and came out three horses wide from the 500m when he finished off best to score at Mildura last week. He should be finishing off nicely again. KEAYANG CRIPPA (4) pushed forward to race without cover shortly after the start, hit the front at the 500m and kicked on strongly for a narrow second in the heat won by APOLOGY ACCEPTED (12). He is racing consistently and should be competitive again. GRENADE (5) was no match for MAGGACIS (11) last week but he was runner up for the third time in succession and must be considered as a place chance again. BACK: MAGGACIS (11) – 3 units (win)
