RACE COMMENT
REAL MIKI (2) ran well first up from a spell last time out finishing fourth behind Miss Bluetrump at this track. He doesn’t have a lot of gate speed but neither does his main rival in Kia Ora Lou and he may be able to press through and eventually find the lead which would see him hard to beat. KIA ORA LOU (5) was driven conservatively early last start given her record of doing things wrong at the start before pressing onto the lead and winning by a huge margin. She draws wide again this time and will likely be put into the race at some stage. OUR ULTIMATE PENNY (1) finished eighth two starts ago in a heat of the Ultimate Driver series at Albion Park in a race taken out by Alwaysbjoy who has since won very impressively scoring in 1.50 at Albion Park. She isn’t blessed with great gate speed but should still find a prominent position and can run well. VICTREE BUSTA (4) ran well two starts ago to do some early work before still running on late into third. He then ran well again last start when finishing third at Marburg despite drawing poorly in that race.
