RACE COMMENT

VINNIE NITRO (10) has been taking on stronger races than this one in recent starts. She finished seventh last start behind Needareason which looks good enough form for a race of this nature. She is usually better when not forced to do too much early work which should see her suited by the trailing draw in this race off the back row.  THE REAL VANESSA (6) led last time out at Albion Park over the 2138 and was well beaten before heading for a spell. She comes into this first up but has run well first up in the past and lands in a moderate race. She looks one of the hardest to beat. WECANONLYDREAM (7) secured a good run just off the speed last start at Albion Park in a race taken out by Icanandiwilldo. He draws awkwardly in this race behind a 143 start maiden which may mean he needs some luck at some stage in the race to work into the clear.  PRIORITY BETTING (9) got a long way back last start and was running on late in a race taken out by Captain Foxtrot. He should secure a good run off the speed and can be running on late again.
