RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: YNOBE DAKOTA (1) has only been placed once in six starts for the season but she produced a really good effort when second behind the Emma Stewart prepared Mount Barker Boy at the Melton trials last week, where she finished off nicely from midfield in fast final sectionals. It is an evenly balanced field so she is worth a ticket each way. JAMES GARNER (11) will appreciate a drop back in class for this assignment and is versatile enough to overcome the poor draw. He was beaten in very fast time at Charlton last outing after a close second behind Shotinthedark at Birchip. WAZOWSKI (3) worked hard to find the lead when unplaced at Boort last outing. She is usually competitive against this class and is worth another chance. OPTIMAL (10) was doing his best work at the end when second behind Shaq at Maryborough last week and is not without a chance.
