RACE COMMENT
CAPTAIN FOXTROT (5) has loomed up and looked the winner in plenty of races but just doesn’t quite finish it off his last 50 and as a result he’s run 23 placings and won just 4 races. He loomed up last start and looked the winner but was run down late by Saychelles who’d had a good run in the race. He looks hardest to beat again. PRIORITY BETTING (9) has been racing consistently in recent starts. He finished midfield last start when looking to run on late in a race taken out by Saychelles. He should get a good run off the speed and if the race is run to suit he should be running on late. WECANONLYDREAM (8) ran well for third three starts ago behind Icanandiwill at this track over the 2040. He looks likely to get a good run through and should be close enough to run into the money again. FANCY LIKE BARBIE (7) didn’t make much impression last start when getting back and struggling to run on late. She draws awkwardly inside the back row but is one of the horses that boasts the best form lines and if she gets out she can be running on.
