RACE COMMENT
MARRTY THE MARTIAN (7) should get a good run through on the back of a gate speed horse. He ran well two starts ago when getting a long way off Rocktime in the run and finishing off very well when quite wide to get into second. He backed that up last start when running on into second behind Vincent Time at this track and trip. He should be hard to hold out. MISS SYRAH (2) had very little luck last time out when shuffled a long way back before flashing home late to finish fifth. She has been in career best form having scored two wins in her last three races and looks to find another race where she can figure with the right run. MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (1) got a long way back last start and hit the line strongly late to finish second in fast time. He led four starts ago at this track and trip and was able to prove too good there when leading all the way to beat Barrett. He should run well again. BARRETT (4) has been racing in good form in recent starts. He was able to secure a good run last start and finished a close up second to My Ultimate Victor. He hasn’t had a start for nearly a month which is a query.
