OVERVIEW: ARE WEASLEY (9) was smashed in betting in the Bendigo heat and won accordingly, working around mid-race and winning by a space. This race presents as an almost identical set-up, so a different result would come as some surprise. PRECIOUS BELLE (8) didn’t have any luck at Bendigo and when she got clear along the sprint lane she found the line well. MYNAMEISRUBY (12) was placed out of the draw after a bad getaway at Bendigo and had every hope in a winnable race during the week, but she’s going better than most.
