RACE COMMENT
GETAGRIP (5) has good gate speed and should be able to work to the lead at some stage in this race. He brings clearly the strongest form into this race and trialled twice in preparation for his return to the races. He is likely to go around a clear favourite. LAZENA (4) started a short priced favourite last start leading before finishing a well beaten fifth. She had run an excellent race two starts ago behind Tiger Shirl at Redcliffe when finishing fourth in good time. Her best is good enough to place a part in the finish. ICANANDIWILL (7) two starts ago was able to win after securing a good run off the speed and running on well late. She should get a good run through early and should be close enough to figure in the minor money. BELMER BETTY (6) was held up at a crucial stage last start before flashing into third making up good ground. She draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race and will need luck at the right time again.
