RACE COMMENT
CAPTAIN CHEDDAR (1) draws the pole and looks set to attempt another all-the-way victory, similar to his win two starts back at Burnie. There does not appear to be significant gate speed drawn to his outside, which should allow him to dictate. ROYAL CADENCE (3) shapes as one of the main dangers and is likely to slot into the running line early, enabling her to finish strongly as she typically does. LALIBELA (6) secures a favourable trailing draw behind the expected leader and should get every opportunity to be in the finish. CHRIS BE QUICK (7) may opt for the three-peg position and hope for late gaps, while QUEENOFDANCE (8) has found form in recent outings and could be dangerous late with the right run.
