RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: Well, here it is. It’s the inaugural Running of the Bulls – Victoria’s very first harness slot race – and what a field it has drawn. There’s an intriguing battle between a range of horses with differing formlines and ratings, with the early speed battle crucial around the tight, turning circuit of Birchip. While she’s only lightly raced and never really been buzzed off the gate, WICKED CONFESSION (1) appears to have the speed to lead and will take plenty of catching if she’s left alone. She has won her two starts for Alex Ashwood by incredible margins in good time and might just be the surprise packet of this year’s event. There’s a whole host of other winning chances, though. SANCHEZ (3) has been set for this race for some time and went awfully close to winning the hot 4YO Bonanza on February 14 at his second run back from a break. He’s a good horse who has contested good races throughout his career and looms as a huge chance. MAXY WANTS TO PLAY (9) was great through the line in the Ararat Pacing Cup and prior to that at Kilmore in a race won by the very smart GOLDEN TRIBE (11), while METEOR MOTH (12) didn’t appear to handle the Ararat circuit overly well, but was very brave after a tough trip and was massive in the Mercury80 when just beaten by top-liner Himanameisjeff before that. They can probably all win with the right trip, so a field ticket in the Quaddie wouldn’t be a crazy idea. Bring it on!   For all your harness form in one place go to goodform.thetrots.com.au  ** A betting unit is typically a percentage of the total bankroll or the amount of money you are willing to risk on a particular bet – for example 1 unit is 10% of your bankroll, therefore a $100 bankroll 1 unit equals $10 Chances are you’re about to lose. For free and confidential support call 1800 858 858 or visit The odds quoted on the fields page are a Goodform computer generated price based on a range of key form factors and are not necessarily the odds that may be offered by a licenced bookmaker.
