RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: Like race three, this event is the final of heats at Charlton and Boort and brings together a number of winning chances. NO EMOTION (6) showed good speed to work forward and lead at Charlton before holding on to score in good style. He then chased hard a long way out when fourth to REALLY SMARTIE (8) at Boort, with the latter horse leading and dictating to win narrowly over OUTBACK QUEENIE (10). Difficult gate to negotiate for Luke Dunne, but I’ll just lean his way. SOAR (4) has been solid with respective fourth and third placings in the qualifiers, and is a winner and runner-up from two goes at Birchip, REALLY SMARTIE (8) is in great form but things are harder from the back row, while FAKE CULLECTION (3) might be the early leader and could prove hard to catch around the tight circuit.
