RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: JAMES GARNER (2) was very impressive in both heats of this series at Charlton and Boort, and looks to get a winning chance in the final from the good draw. He sat parked at Charlton and only went down narrowly to OUR ULTIMATE GRACY (8) and was held up at Boort last weekend behind winner SHOTINTHEDARK (6) before charging through the line for fourth. If he’s able to find the front here, he will take some beating. OUR ULTIMATE GRACY (8) is the other key winning hope. She has come back from a long break in top form with two front-running wins at Charlton and she can make it three in succession despite the back row gate. TO THE NINES (9) competed very competitively in good three-year-old races late last season and was solid coming wide first-up at Boort last weekend, while SHOTINTHEDARK (6) was tough from the breeze in that race and is the other leading contender along with FAIR CHANCE (3).
